I get inspiration when out in nature, the salty smell from the ocean or the eucalyptus drifting on the breeze. I love the freedom I feel sketching quickly capturing the movement of the water or shadows of light on the landscape in the landscape. It’s always a journey of discovery from initial studies to the finished piece.
